SAY YES MORE

Enjoy a unique stay on a very cool double decker, complete with seating, kitchen, wood burner, library and chill-out space.

Perfect for a small group of friends, a family or even some lone creative time, the YesBus has been the seed for hundreds of adventures and projects over the years and we always aim for your stay to be a platform for positive change.

Hang out at the downstairs dinner table for meals or games, soak up hundreds of great ideas found in the adventure library upstairs (you might even find a signed copy or thre), or simply enjoy a countryside pause in one of our hammocks.

The YesBus lives right next to the alpaca paddock and outside you'll find seating, a firebowl and the solar panels that provide energy to the bus.

What you'll find downstairs:
  • Wood burner

  • Fully fitted kitchen including four-ring gas hob, oven and grill and fridge.

  • Seating and table for 6-8

  • Basic crockery, cutlery, mugs and cooking equipment

  • Power points with USBs throughout the bus (1000W limit - Not suitable for high draw items like hair dryers, slow cookers etc!)

  • Board games galore

  • Unlimited fresh water

  • Wet room/ entrance through driver's cabin

Upstairs:
  • Double bed and pull-out double futon upstairs, plus extra sleeping space in hammocks or inflatable mattresses.

  • We provide bedsheets, mattresses and toppers but ask guests to bring their own pillows, duvets (or sleeping bags), and covers

  • Front window desk space

  • Adventure library

Outside:
  • Firebowl (we sell baskets of firewood)

  • Picnic bench

  • Private eco loo and shower cubicle 20 metres walk from the bus

The bit where we're honest:

We're pretty confident that the unique benefits of our accommodations by far outweigh the downsides, but our site is off grid and can't offer all the shiny comforts of 5* hotel luxury, so if you like a long, hot bath on your holidays...well, you should read this before booking!

  • Buses are thin metal and lots of windows, which means they're super hard to insulate and can be cold when the climate outside is chilly. This is a strong appeal for many but if you feel the cold a lot the colder months may not be best for you. The YesBus wood burner does a lovely job at keeping the downstairs cosy.

  • If you're not a fan of bugs, flies, spiders, fresh air, the distant sound of tractors or cows or anything much to do with being outside in the countryside, our site may not be your ideal getaway!

  • Our buses are powered by solar panels and while we do everything we can to ensure the batteries are topped up before our guests visit we can't 100% promise you'll have all-singing, all dancing power, especially during long, cloudy weeks (which are thankfully few and far between from Spring to Autumn in sunny Lincolnshire). Touch wood, we've only had one occasion when a guest didn't have power throughout - but they loved our backup plan with additional solar lights throughout and an electric generator offering three pin and USB power.

  • To avoid wasting water and the cost of providing infrastructure and mains supply across acres of land, we've opted for lower level eco friendly facilities. The toilets are composting and we ensure they stay clean and scent free, and showers are delivered in heated bags. As long as you're not expecting the Hilton, you'll be good!

While we love animals we can't allow pets on site as they stress our alpacas out.

We'll do everything we can to make your stay at Big Sky as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We love surprising our guests and making your stay unique so if you have any ideas we might be able to help with don't hesitate to ask :)
