A Haven in Nature
Nestled behind a screen of trees surrounded by the flatlands of Lincolnshire, the award-winning Big Sky Hideaway offers a unique escape from the everyday, hidden away in 15 acres of woodland and re-wilded meadows.
We've created a space where nature leads and comfort follows. From starlit, fireside gatherings to original glamping accommodations and spacious, private camping pitches, every element is designed to help you disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with the natural one.
WAKE UP WILD + A LITTLE BIT MORE
From camping to glamping to hammocking or staying in your own vehicle, we offer a range of different sleeping comforts, with all the basics on the side.
Our 15 acre site is yours to roam. Soak up the promise of the 1500+ trees we planted and enjoy wandering along the paths of what used to be the camping meadow, but should probably now be called a maze! Re-wilding is magic!
Big Sky has become a haven for wildlife, and on a quiet morning you may well see a deer or two, and if you’re really lucky a tawny owl might lean out of its base camp in the woods. If you’re a fan of the Merlin app, prepare for an overload of birdsong! (It’s actually the most frequent complaint we get, that the birds are too loud!)
We tread lightly by building with reclaimed materials, and we’re 100% renewables-powered here with the sun doing most of the work. Although camping and van pitches have no electricity, we hire out small power packs in case you need to charge a phone, laptop or tablet.
Take a bench and hang out with the alpacas, they inspire calm and curiosity. And if you’d like to get up close and personal, join a half hour feeding for £5 a person.
So whether you’re after a cosy couples getaway or a family holiday, there is a quiet space for everyone at Big Sky. And we hire our the whole site for celebrations, gatherings and micro festivals too. Browse the site and please do drop us a line if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
