CAMPING
1-2 TENTS PER PITCH

MEADOW CAMPING
Treat yourself to a break under canvas. Our Big Meadow was made for a simple camping experience and is surrounded by a protective hug of trees. We're pretty sure you'll love the tranquility.

We have only tent pitches in our Big Meadow, each one a handsome distance from the other to ensure your peace and quiet.
If you'd like a fire we can bring over a firepit and sell seasoned wood on site.

The camping meadow is vehicle free so no worries about noise and safety, and don't worry, the car park is no more than 100 metres away and we supply big wheelbarrows so you can get your gear between car and camp.

We don't provide electricity for our tented campers. If you like the idea of escaping to nature and getting away from it all without needing a whole lotta luxury, this is your place.

Outside of holidays we charge £10 per adult per night and one child per adult is free. School and bank holidays are £15 per adult per night.
Each pitch is plenty big enough for two small-small/medium tents but if you have a big tent you're probably looking at one tent per pitch.

We also have a larger mown area for small groups or families who have multiple tents (or really big tents!). If this sounds right for you just get in touch and we'll reserve the big pitch for you! Please note that we'd appreciate contact before booking if you're planning to camp with a large group of adults (more than 4) - we like to ensure that Big Sky is a peaceful and family-friendly campsite and larger groups of adults can be indimidating, which isn't our style. Thanks for understanding and please drop us a line to discuss.

Note: We will accept one night bookings for campers, just shoot us an email. We're also flexible on dates if you're cycle touring, we know it doesn't always go to plan! Just get in touch to let us know what you need.

Camping facilities:
-
We've a block with eco loos in our camping field and a wash stand (with cold water) for dishes and hands.
-
We have two drinking water taps on site, one in the camping meadow and one by the barn
-
Our camping meadow is vehicle-free
-
There is no power in our camping meadow

While we love animals we can't allow pets on site as they stress our alpacas out.

We'll do everything we can to make your stay at Big Sky as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We love surprising our guests and making your stay unique so if you have any ideas we might be able to help with don't hesitate to ask :)
